Heather FIsh('17) I graduated from The Baptist College of Florida in 2021 with a degree in Biblical Studies. I now live in northeast Florida working for the Department of Transportation.
Anthony Martinez ('21) I am now a barber and working in a barbershop part time, at least until I can get enough people in to cut hair so I can go full time. Just finishing barber school up here in April!
Chris Stauffer ('16) I'm an Electrical Engineer involved in power system design and have been married for a little over two years. My wife and I moved to Pittsburgh after graduating from UF and have loved the friends we've made up here (and the weather, though it can get a bit chilly).
zoe struk ('22) at UF, double majoring in Mechanical Engineering and music performance. (I love it!) I have been very involved in playing throughout the community and I have several students that I am teaching oboe to. I am not 100% sure whether I want to be a professional musician or an engineer yet, but I do know that I always want to keep making music :)
Emily Walleer (formerly fish ('17) I am married (as of Feb 25 of this year!) and living in England. I’ll be over here for a little over two years. Before that, I was working at A Women’s Pregnancy Center in Tallahassee. And before that, I attended FSU where I was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta and the Flying High Circus. I graduated with a 4.0 dual degree in Hospitality and Family & Child Sciences. I minored in religion and education.

Emily Widener (formally Skojec) ('19). I have been married to my wonderful husband, going on two years. I work full time at Florida State University in advising at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
catalin Grant ('18) In second semester of my MA program at FAU and by this time next year I will have a completed thesis and will officially be an anthropologist! Aside from that, I took up Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu my senior year of undergrad and have kept up with it for close to two years now. After I graduate next year I plan to join the Peace Corps and chase down my dream of working with NGOs in the humanitarian sector.
Dana Boebinger ('08) got her PhD in Speech & Hearing Bioscience & Technology last year from Harvard. She is now doing a postdoc at University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. She is studying where language and music are processed in the brain. Her husband, Michael Bunne, got a master's in mechanical engineering at Stanford and is working at Vicarious Surgical to build a surgical robot.
Matt Boebinger ('011) got his PhD in materials science in 2020 from Georgia Tech and did his postdoc at Oak Ridge National Lab in Oak Ridge, TN. He was hired there about 6 months ago to do electron microscopy. He got engaged in October!
Scott Boebinger ('14) is working on his PhD in biomedical engineering at Emory University in Atlanta. He's studying balance with Parkinson's patients. He expects to graduate in 2024.
Bonner Buckner ('16) a roadway design engineer here in town and I'm helping design the widening of Bannerman Road. Employed with RS&H whose office is right above Coosh's on Thomasville Road.
I graduated from FSU (20) with a Civil Engineering degree and now I am a Roadway Engineering Associate. I AM WORKING earn my Professional Engineering license which requires 4-years of experience in a full-time engineering position. While I was at FSU, I participated in Marching Chiefs for my first 3 years and Seminole Sound every year I was eligible (5 years) so I've been to pretty much every FSU game for the past few years and have had more experiences than I can even recall, lots of great ones and of course a few not so great. I have to say that marching band was the reason I chose to attend FSU and is also the reason why I enjoyed my time there as much as I did. I met my future wife and a lot of other wonderful people in my life as a result of music so I just want to make sure that you know how much my time at Chiles in Symphonic, Concert, Jazz, and Marching band means to me and I hope you continue to aid future generations with finding a home away from home.

David Buenrostro ('05)- I am currently residing in Prosper, TX (suburb north of Dallas). Have been here since 2014. I live here with my wife – Dina (formerly LCHS band’s own Dina Converso – she played clarinet) – as well as with our two daughters (Luciana – 3 yrs; Isabella – 11 months). I work for Hilton corporate in revenue management for hotels. Have been with Hilton for 7 years now. My parents still live in Tallahassee.
Caitlin Baldauff (Boline) ('07) - Since then I went to Florida State University, graduating with a BS in Family and Child Science. I was in the cymbal line of the Big 8 in the Marching Chiefs all four years of college. I was subsection leader in 2009 and 2010. I also Marched four years of drum corps on cymbals. I marched Teal Sound 2008, and Spirit of Atlanta 2009-2011. I was subsection leader 2010 and 2011 at Spirit. I received the Zildjian An Outstanding Cymbal Player award 2010 and 2011. Being able to march Drum Corps helped me in changing the culture of Big 8 cymbal line from a section people get cut to, to a section people felt proud to be in. We even performed a cymbal ensemble performance for the 2010 Prism Concert series. I received the Medal of Honor award from the Marching Chiefs directors for my work with the cymbal line. After college I went to the University of Central Florida and graduated with a MA in Counselor Education. I helped with auditions for the Marching Knights Cymbal line and taught cymbals at Winter Park high school my three years there. This was a lot of fun. During graduate school my focus shifted more toward my career as a mental health and substance abuse therapist. I graduated May 2014. After this I got married to Brian who is a musician. We have been married for over five years now and lived in two different states. We started in West Virginian where Brian was Director of percussion and Director of Athletics Bands. Now we live in Stevens Point Wisconsin where Brian is the director of Percussion at the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor at a community mental health clinic in the city north of Stevens Point. We are enjoying like up north, though the winters get pretty brutal here. What we do for fun is ultramarathon trail running. We typically run 50k races and have run two 50 mile races. We are starting to get into winter sports like snowshoeing and cross country skiing. It is definitely a learning curve staying warm and being outside in the cold. Wisconsin is a windy state and we get below 0 temperatures for weeks on end. Mug different than Tallahassee! I am learning frame drumming and Solkattu, a South Indian language and hand gesture counting system. It is a lot of fun!

MICHAEL HAS BEEN IN THE MARINE CORPS FOR 14 YEARS AND HOLDS THE RANK OF STAFF SERGEANT. HE HAS BEEN WITH HIS CURRENT UNIT, THE III MARINE EXPEDITIONARY FORCE BAND (ALSO IN OKINAWA), FOR THE LAST THREE YEARS AND SERVES AS THE SMALL ENSEMBLE LEADER, WHERE HE WILL REMAIN UNTIL 2022. MICHAEL OVERSEES OUR MUSIC PRODUCTION SECTIONS, INCLUDING AUDIO REINFORCEMENT AND RECORDING, VIDEOGRAPHY, AND ARRANGING TEAM. HE ADDITIONALLY SERVES THE UNIT AS AN AUDIO ENGINEER, MUSIC COMPOSER AND ARRANGER, AND WHILE NOT AS FREQUENT, HE STILL IS AN ACTIVE PERFORMER. OUTSIDE OF WORK, HE AND HIS COLLEAGUES STARTED A SMALL COLLECTIVE OF FELLOW AUDIO ENGINEERS AND COMPOSERS WITH THE INTENT TO PRODUCE NEW, ORIGINAL MUSIC RANGING FROM FILM SCORES TO CHILL HOP. Bryan Allen(' ) - is completing his final year at the University of Florida college of veterinary medicine. He hasn't used his trumpet much since finishing his tour with the Marching Chiefs in 2010.
Austin Coates ('16) - from FSU with a Music Performance major with Statistics and Biomedical physics minors. Currently studying saxophone, musicology, and early musical theory at FSU.
Megan (Kornegay) SeveR('08) and Chris Sever('09) - I am currently entering my 6th year teaching, and currently teach 7th and 8th grade social studies in Orlando, Florida. I'm also working on my Masters in Educational Leadership at the University of Central Florida, with hopes of eventually becoming a school administrator. My husband, Chris Sever (also an alum), is a computer engineer at Lockheed Martin in Orlando, Florida. We bought a house a few years ago in Merritt Island, Florida, and are both very focused on our careers. We're both planning on stopping by the homecoming game since we'll be in town that weekend. We look forward to catching up with those who are still around!
James Spearing(' ) -is now 1st Chair Alto Sax in the University of Southern Mississippi's Symphonic Winds and 1st chair in their Saxophone Chamber Orchestra. He also is playing alto saxophone in the USM Pride of Mississippi Marching Band!

Jennifer (Goodin) Howard(2000-2003) and her husband Josh live in Colorado Springs, CO. and are expecting our first child in September.

Matt Walters ('03) - resides in Ferndale, Michigan (just outside Detroit). He plans to marry his fiancee, Sharon, on 9/14/13). Matt works for a cancer hospital and is seek to be certified in gemology. He spends most of his free time fishing, learning circus stuff, or swing dancing.
Charlene Trickey('07) - current lives in Fort Riley, Kansas, with her husband Donovan Thompson. They have a son, Carter, and a son, Myles, on the way. Charlene earned her AA degree at TCC and will be attending Florida State in the Fall. Donovan deploys in a month for Afghanistan. We miss home and all the wonderful people.
Lawrence Barriner('06) - was Head Drum Major of the Marching Timberwolves during the Fall 2006 Football season. He played trombone from middle school through his early college years. He is currently an undergraduate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning. He is interested in EPP (Environmental Planning and Policy) and IDG (the International Development Group) and would like to help underdeveloped countries develop with practical sustainability in mind. Although his busy school and work schedule doesn't allow Lawrence to play his instrument with the same commitment he once had, his position in his fraternity (Phi Kappa Sigma) has led him to recruit many former high school musicians (and trombone players especially). He would also like to give a shout out to the Boneyard!
Emily (formerly Morse) Casey (o4)- played clarinet, bass clarinet, and alto sax. Married in 2006. graduated FSU in 2006 with a B.S. in Psychology. Had a girl in 2008 and a boy in 2010.

Elizabeth Clendinning - is a Visiting Instructor in Ethnomusicology at Emory University in Atlanta, where she also is the Director of the World Music program and Director of the Emory Gamelan ensemble. She plans to graduate with a doctorate in Musicology this Fall 2013 from FSU.
Clendinning, whose hometown is Tallahassee, received a master's degree in ethnomusicology from FSU in 2009 and a bachelor's degree in music (with honors) from the University of Chicago in 2007. "In my doctoral research, I will be exploring cosmopolitanism and globalism in Balinese music and dance and will be using my newly acquired research skills to interview individuals in the performing arts.
